Welcome to ABH Schools for Science and Technical Education!
By Allah’s mercy I am honoured to welcome you to our prestigious schools. I am Abdulfattah Abdulsalam, the School Principal. ABH Schools for Science and Technical Education offers Conventional and Sound Islamic education. We aim to provide Science, Technical and authentic Islamic Education. We also offer Entrepreneurship training at the end of which all students would acquire robust Technical/ Entrepreneurship Skills which would be certified. At ABH Schools for Science and Technical Education, our staff and resource persons are professional with pedagogical experience in their various fields and equipped with modern resources and a conducive learning environment. Our curricula focus on a student/pupil centered teaching and learning where students and pupils are made to engage in relevant and meaningful activities which are connected to real life experience. Our curriculum at the Lower and Middle Basics is Nigeria- British, integrated in the Upper Basic and science and technical in the Senior Secondary. Our Technical/ Entrepreneurship training include Fashion Designing, Wood Work, Shoe Making and Computer Engineering and Maintenances. The training programmes aim to enable each of our students become a skillful entrepreneur before they graduate from our school, insha’Allah. Clubs, sports and games, excursions, practical religious activities and Qur’anic competitions form parts of our extra-curricular activities. Hence, our programmes connect the body and soul, the brain and the limbs in the context of sound Islamic discipline. ABH Schools for Science and Technical Education aimed at producing righteous leaders with noble character, spirit of selflessness, self discipline, empathy and academic excellence. Hence, the students and pupils are trained to manage their behaviour with the support and guidance of the schools’ personnel. Our school environment is well organized, safe, secure, and orderly. We are located in a serene environment conducive for learning. We take safety as paramount and work hard to ensure it and yet commit all our affairs to Allah. Surely Allah sees the servants and He is aware of everything. The conventional school consists of Nursery Section, Primary Section and Secondary Section, and the schooling hours are 7:45am – 12:30pm, 7:45am – 1:30pm, 7:45am – 2:40pm respectively on Mondays – Thursdays. All sections run from 7:45am through 12:30pm on Fridays. The Islamic school consists of Islamiyyah section and Tahfiz section and the schooling hours and days are 3:00pm – 5:30pm on Monday – Thursday and 8:00am – 4:00pm on Saturdays & Sundays respectively.
